Shiny Media appoints Web TV for exclusive video on-demand sales

Website publisher Shiny Media, whose titles include Catwalk Queen and Tech Digest, has appointed premium video advertising specialists The Web TV Enterprise to exclusively manage the video advertising for 20 of its entertainment channels.

Shiny Media was founded in 2004 by Chris Price, Ashley Norris and Katie Lee; all established journalists from publications including The Guardian and The Mirror. The website uses a blogging platform to host over 30 editorially-led specialist websites, ranging from fashion, technology and lifestyle to sports and games.  Each offer features, reviews and entertainment videos.

Each website’s video content, contains topical themes and news. The video content produced by Shiny Media reaches a total of over 3.1 million unique users each month.

Flagship site Tech Digest has a monthly readership of over 500,000 - the video content includes reviews of products and reports from press conferences and events. The site will also be launching a weekly video show ‘TechTonic,’ for which The Web TV Enterprise will source a sponsorship partner.

Fashion title Catwalk Queen TV reaches over 450,000 monthly readers, featuring video content including current fashion trends and buying advice.
